National self-esteem convention not good enough.
NEW YORK - Leaders of the National Self-Esteem Association have announced they believe the 2007 convention is possibly not worthy of taking place and may be cancelled. Spokesman Michael Jenkins commented, "At this point our self-image of this event is very poor and we are considering cancelling it. We dont feel our conventions have ever measured up to people's expectations." Organizers say the self-esteem conventions in previous years were also not good enough and probably should have been cancelled.
